Sex change bars wanna-be beauty queen from competing

The Miss Universe Organization announced on that it might reverse its decision on alloing a transgender woman from participating in miss canada beauty pageant.
Jenna Talackova, 23, was born male, which made the organizers of the leading organizers to bar her last month as a finalist in the 61st Miss Universe Canada pageant in May.
The rules of the contest run by Donald Trump's New York City-based organization say entrants must be "naturally born" females. Thw "woman" underwent a sex-change operation four years ago.
But shortly after Talackova announced a news conference in Los Angeles with high-profile lawyer Gloria Allred for Tuesday, the New York-based Miss Universe Organization said in a statement on the Miss Universe Canada website that Talackova can compete "provided she meets the legal gender recognition requirements of Canada, and the standards established by other international competitions."
The statement did not elaborate and messages seeking clarification from Miss Universe organizers were not immediately returned.
Vancouver constitutional lawyer Joe Arvay, who is on Talackova's legal team, told The Associated Press that Miss Universe Canada's latest statement about Canadian legal gender recognition requirements is "incomprehensible."
"I have no idea what they're talking about," he said.
Arvay said the pageant requirement for "natural born" females does not comply with Canadian human rights legislation and that a complaint will be filed with the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
"In the absence of clarity, we will be proceeding," Arvay said. "At the present time, it's gobbledygook."
Allred's office said its news conference is still proceeding as planned.
The disqualification won Talackova widespread sympathy and raised the question of whether the pageant has the right to decide who is female.
Her change of gender was hardly a secret before the event because she had competed in the 2010 Tiffany Miss International Queen Competition for transgendered and transsexual women in Pattaya, Thailand. In a video interview for that pageant, she said she had lived her life as a female since age 4, began hormone therapy at 14 and changed sex at 19.
"I regard myself as a woman with a history," she said.
Connie McNaughton, Miss World Canada in 1984 and first runner-up for the world crown, had called the decision outdated and discriminatory. Professor Patrizia Gentile of Ottawa's Carleton University, who did a dissertation on beauty pageants, equated the ban with the exclusion of blacks and Jews from pageants in earlier times.
From the conservative side of Canadian society, Gwen Landolt, national vice president of REAL Women of Canada, said the pageant was simply being realistic in barring Talackova

d-banj and don jazzy break up
It is already a confirmed gist that things has gone awry between these two.
D-banj who is an artiste also signed on to good music owned by kany west.d-banj is now quoted to have tweeted online that he is the sole owner of mo'hits records.
This statement created a big uproar online with the follower of both personality following up the story fully.
Not until when his publicist and rep released a statement correcting it. The relationship of both artistes started in the united kingdom until the duo decided to move back to their motherland.
On their return to the country,both consistently churned out good songs with catchy beats and at the same time signing other music acts prominent among the acts are wande coal the mushin boy,dr sid the doctor,d-prince and other acts.
D-banj was reported to have told the acts signed on to the records label to choose between going with him or with his erstwhile partner.(Tough choice,would'nt you say?)

WHO IS KHLOE's FATHER???
Really this drama is gEtting too boring and if its a joke its not funny anymore.why won't kris just say who the father of khloe is.is it her former hairdresser Alex roldan,OJ simpson or robert kardashian.or is this just a publicity stunt to attract more viewers to the family reality show KEEPING UP WITH THE KArDAShIaNs?
There is no point in kris keeping errone in suspense.obviously poor khloe wants to know who her father is and stop this drama.it mist be recalled in some old episodes of the reAlity tv show that khloe wanted to find out if kris is her real mother or not and the test was positive. The reason being that kris treats her differently from her other girls and she doesn't have the ame hair as them and physique. Only for a paternity case to leak out!!

NO TO TIWA SAVAGE LASHES
TIWA TIWA TIWA pls stop using those fake lashes you have on.they do not make you any more beautiful than you are.you area really beautiful and attractive young lady please do not use your lashes anymore.
the lashes of tiwa really makes her look flat and ugly and unattractive.its like her eyes do not have feeling at all.it really is unbecoming and does not suit her.
tiwa who is co anchor of the nigerian idols that is sponsorec by etisalat does not really look good with her too long lashes it makes her eyes look like there is no expression there.
my own one kobo suggestion is that she should use medium sized lashes and not lix on her lower lashes.shikena
